Michael Hunter for Twists Glass zanfirico cane blackbird

This gorgeous hollow blown zanfirico cane blackbird was made by Michael Hunter for Twists Glass in 2015. The bird is made of alternating black zanfirico canes, one set of canes is so closely twisted that it appears to be a solid black cane, laid into clear glass. The bird has a beak made of an orange & yellow zanfirico cane with eyes of yellow torsade canes with solid black centres. This particular piece is the prototype and therefore very special. The base is signed "M Hunter Twists '15 Prototype" and has the Twists Glass studio sticker. Really cute and waiting to fly to a good home!
